With a name like an action hero’s, DC’s sleek red and silver Circulator buses provide visitors
and residence with quick, direct access to some of the most popular points of the city. The Circulator
connects downtown DC, Georgetown, Union Station, the Washington Convention Center and the Southwest
Waterfront. The cost to ride is just $1, and the system also accepts Metro’s Smart cards and transfers.
The Circulator line includes 29 efficient buses – low to the ground with three separate doors for
rapid transfer. To make travel even easier, tickets may be purchased in advance or before boarding
buses, which arrive every 10 minutes. dccirculator.com
