Though the National Gallery of Art didn’t technically appear in the film (the fictional Washington Art Gallery was used as a stand in), the similarities are pretty striking. You can visit the National Gallery of Art East and West wings to see some of the most famous art in the world from Renaissance painters to contemporary sculptors. nga.gov

Behind the Scenes Secret: A 1901 bronze cast of Auguste Rodin’s “The Thinker” is on display at the National Gallery of Art just like in the film, but be sure and also check out the National Gallery’s Sculpture Garden, where you’ll find another "Thinker" – only this one’s a hare by sculptor Barry Flanagan.
