Since its founding in 1976, GALA has been producing the best in theater from Latin America, Spain, and the Caribbean, in both English and Spanish, and presenting a diverse program of music, dance and performing arts from across the United States and abroad. GALA's National Center for Latino Performing Arts at the historic Tivoli in Columbia Heights boasts a state-of-the-art theater, facility, studio and workshop space.
