(Washington, DC) … Destination DC and American Express have partnered on a special end-of-summer promotion that rewards cardmembers for visiting the nation’s capital. Now through Sept. 15, American Express Cardmembers get 10X Membership Rewards Points when they use their card at any of nearly 140 locations in Washington, DC. For every $1 spent at participating restaurants, retailers, hotels and attractions, American Express Cardmembers get 10 points in return. The “Power Savings” Promotion offers visitors an extra enticement to visit DC during the popular summer season. “Late summer is a wonderful time to visit Washington, DC and with the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial dedication on August 28, there will be something brand new to experience in the nation’s capital,” said Elliott L.
