One of the biggest walking destinations in the country, the National Mall is home to monuments, memorials and museums.
Shop in one of DC's oldest and swankiest neighborhoods with a trip to Georgetown. The riverfront neighborhood has local and national boutiques and restaurants along M Street and Wisconsin Avenue.

Kenilworth Park and Aquatic Gardens in Anacostia was founded in 1926 as part of Congress’ efforts to preserve the city’s forests, water quality and recreation. Be sure and check out the annual Waterlily Festival in July.
