TRANSPORTATION

Metro
Washington, DC's Metrorail system will operate from 4AM-2AM on Inauguration Day, Jan. 20. The Archives/ Navy Memorial and Smithsonian Stations will be closed on Jan. 20. Parking at Metro lots will be $4 on Jan. 20. For more information, visit Metro's inauguration page.

National Archives
News coverage (likely to include the swearing-in and the parade) will be shown live in the William G. McGowan Theater on Jan. 20 from 11:30 AM-5 PM. Seating is first-come, first-serve, and visitors should enter through the 9th St. and Constitution Ave. entrance. The Archives is also presenting a special inauguration exhibition, Taking the Oath, in the East Rotunda from Jan. 12-25.

National Museum of Women in the Arts

Newseum
Sold out. The Newseum, located right on the parade route, will be open on Inauguration Day, Jan. 20. Visitors, who will be charged regular admission rates, can enjoy special presentations including highlights the swearing-in ceremony and inaugural parade, plus historic inaugural front page newspapers and a special photo exhibit, "First Dogs: American Presidents and Their Pets."
