Go Ape Treetop Adventures

The world's premier treetop adventure course is easily accessible from Washington DC by car or metro - take Red Line to Shady Grove metro station then a taxi to Rock Creek Regional Park.

Catering to all skill levels, participants are equipped with harnesses, pulleys and carabiners and receive a 30-minute training session before they are turned loose into the forest canopy. Spanning the length of more than seven football fields with obstacles 40-50 feet above the ground, the course features a series of six ziplines (including the first ever skateboard zip in the USA), two Tarzan swings, rope ladders and bridges. Go Ape provides a tree-mendous experience for your family, friends, school or work colleagues.

Since opening in May 2010, Go Ape has hosted thousands of visitors from throughout the country as Go Ape offers a different kind of outdoor activity that the DC has not experienced before.

Participants must be over the age of 10 years and at least 4 ft 7 inches and under 285 pounds (subject to harness fit). Bookings can be made by visiting
