Destination DC members are awesome - check out some of the charitable work our friends in the hospitality industry are doing for the community!

  • Baked by Yael - accepting donations to provide care packages to those served by Cleveland & Woodley Park Village
  • DC Bartender Virtual Tip Jar - support your favorites through PayPal and Venmo
  • DC Jazz Festival - set up a COVID-19 Community Resource Center
  • Geppetto Catering - pre-made delivery at reduced cost through the Give a Meal program 
  • Hook Hall - offering restaurant industry support and more
  • I.M.P. Family Fund - will match the amount of every gift card purchased through March 28 with a donation to I.M.P. Family Fund 
  • Jeenie - donating free interpreting minutes to customers who need language assistance to consult with a doctor about COVID-19
  • Knead Hospitality + Design - established Food It Forward, an initiative that allows you to purchase meals online from their restaurants to be delivered to vulnerable populations
  • LEON - offering 50% off for all care workers with ID, free coffee for hospitality and retail workers and free kids meals for all kids
  • Merzi Cares - collecting purchases to send lunches to hospitals, grocery stores and other professionals who can't work from home
  • Northstar Meetings Group - established the Above and Beyond Foundation for workers laid off due to coronavirus closures; issuing $500 grants to former front-line hotel workers
  • Occasions Caterers - created the Occasions Relief Fund to care for and support their hundreds of employees during this time
  • RAMW - established a Workers' Relief Fund that has raised over $20,000 so far
  • Succotash - will provide free, to-go dinners for anyone laid off from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.
  • ThinkFoodGroup - turning all DC Metro area restaurants into community kitchens with to-go meals for those in need; purchase gift cards and 50% of proceeds extend compensation to staff, 50% support ThinkFamilyFund
  • theatreWashington - established Taking Care Emergency Relief Fund with $115,000 match to provide emergency assistance to DC-area theater professionals
  • Washington Nationals - established the NATS4GOOD Community Response Fund - will disperse charitable grants to community partners delivering essential food access, health and human service
  • Washington Redskins - in tandem with Prince George's and Maryland Health Departments, the FedExField parking lots have become community screening stations
