Make it your ‘policy’ to stop here for a complete night of happy hour drinks, dinner and dancing.

Located in the popular U Street neighborhood, Policy has one goal in mind: to be your first and final stop of the evening. The main floor, or Love Dining Room, invites patrons to indulge in happy hour and dinner. But it’s the venue’s second floor, Liberty Lounge, where the party really starts. At 10 p.m. live DJs spin Old School, Hip Hop, Mash Ups and Top 40 throughout the night.

It’s not a hotel, but you will want to stay to dance the night away like a rock star.

You can play here, but you can’t stay here! Contrary to its name, The Rock & Roll Hotel in DC’s H Street Corridor isn’t really a hotel at all. In fact, it’s a three-story concert hall and music venue. The Hotel Bar on the second level features three private suites, a dance floor and a DJ booth. And finally, there’s the popular rooftop deck and bar. When you’re here, you party like a rock star.

This hidden venue is DC’s best kept secret with its multi-level dance floors and musical varieties.

Located in the Dupont Circle neighborhood, this lounge may be one of DC’s best kept secrets. The non-descript Victorian mansion has been converted into a multi-level nightlife venue featuring The Main Room, The Gold Room, The Jazz Bar and an outdoor terrace. Visitors enjoy live bands as well as local and regional DJs, and a variety of musical genres including reggae, tango, bossa nova, jazz and more.

Find a partner and salsa the night away at this Cuban hotspot featuring three dance floors.

Located in the heart of Adams Morgan, Habana Village specializes in all things Cuban – from cuisine to music to dance. Every Wednesday – Saturday, get there early to learn basic salsa steps. Then, practice what you learn on one of three dance floors. DJs spin the best of salsa, merengue, bachata, timba and more nightly, while a live five-piece band entertains on Fridays and Saturdays.

Dance to the beat on U Street at this basement dance club featuring a pulsating sound system.
