Most likely, yes. Destination DC maintains a large, experienced team of event professionals and can staff events ranging from a single registration attendant to large-scale conventions requiring dozens of team members. If your event has unique staffing needs, we'll work with you to develop a customized staffing plan.
Yes. Every Red Coat receives training in customer service, professionalism and event operations to ensure they represent both your organization and Destination DC with excellence.
Not at all. While our signature Red Coat uniform is our standard uniform, we are happy to accommodate your event's needs. Staff can work in all-black attire, business professional clothing or another approved dress code.
While we recommend booking as early as possible, we understand events change quickly and can often accommodate last-minute staffing requests based on availability.
Absolutely. While we're best known for staffing events at the convention center, our team regularly supports events throughout the Washington metropolitan area, including hotels, museums, corporate offices, universities, and sports venues in National Harbor, Arlington, Alexandria and other regional locations.
Yes, when applicable. We believe in fairly compensating our team for their hard work. Overtime is billed only when an individual staff member works more than 40 hours during the workweek, in accordance with applicable labor laws. Our scheduling team works diligently to minimize overtime whenever possible.
Yes. Whenever possible, we'll assign returning staff who are already familiar with your event to provide continuity.

Meet the Team
Justin Estevez leads the recruitment, training, scheduling and management of the Redcoat team.
With over 10 years of experience in hospitality, event operations and workforce development, Justin has managed teams and events in New York City, Miami and Washington, DC. He is passionate about developing hospitality talent and helping clients create memorable events in the nation's capital. Outside of work, he trains in Muay Thai and kickboxing.
