Zsameria Rayford is the founder of SwapDC. As the only creative recycling event in Washington, D.C., the event fosters a fun and diverse community for residents who want to live a more sustainable lifestyle. Rayford hopes to bring awareness to the consequences of consumerism on our environment and culture.
Anne Marie Johnson is the founder and owner of D.C.-based lifestyle and clothing brand Bitter Grace, which is committed to promoting conscious fashion. Johnson advocates for sustainable fashion, emphasizing wearability and longevity.
Aurora Robson is a multimedia artist known for her meditative work intercepting the plastic waste stream. Robson is the founder of Project Vortex, an international collective of artists, designers, and architects who work in innovative ways with plastic debris. Robson is passionate about developing integrative methods for artists and designers to utilize plastic debris as a raw material.
Kelly Perkins is the founder of Spinster Sisters Co., a WBENC Certified Women-Owned and B Corp Certified business. They consciously craft all of their skin, hair, and bath products with premium, plant-based ingredients with a focus on plastic-free packaging and sustainable production practices.
