Weddings and Wedding Photos on the National Mall
Plan a simple outdoors wedding against the backdrop of some of DC’s most memorable sights. On the National Mall, weddings take place near the Jefferson Memorial on the Tidal Basin and near the World War I Memorial. You can also hold your wedding across the Potomac River at Arlington House, near Arlington National Cemetery, and at the Netherlands Carillon, near the U.S. Marine Corps Memorial (Iwo Jima statue). Many brides and grooms also choose to mark the occasion with wedding photography on the National Mall. Contact the National Park Service at (202) 619-7225 to inquire about event and photography permits.
We’re here to help you plan a day to remember—and to save you time and money. Contact our convention services team at (202) 789-7070 for more information.
