The Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum is currently closed in conjunction with the museum's large-scale, multi-year renovation. The Museum will reopen with eight new galleries and public spaces in fall of 2022. Additional phased reopenings of new galleries will occur in 2024 and 2025.
The Museum also has a second location, the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center, located next to Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) in Chantilly, Virginia.
