The Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum is currently closed in conjunction with the museum's large-scale, multi-year renovation. The Museum will reopen on October 14 with eight new galleries and public spaces. Additional phased re-openings of new galleries will occur in 2024 and 2025.
The Museum also has a second location, the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center, located next to Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) in Chantilly, Virginia.
