Free Admission for National Law Enforcement Museum Open House
In celebration of Police Weekend 2023, join the National Law Enforcement Museum for a day filled with family-friendly activities, special demonstrations, and immersive educational experiences. On Saturday, September 30, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Open House Day admission to the Museum is FREE –and visitors of all ages are welcome. *Please note that tickets are required before arriving at the Museum.
Activities and must-see exhibitions include:
- Law Enforcement K-9 presentation at 12:00 p.m.
- Storytelling with an officer at 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
- Scavenger hunts
- Design your own police patch

- Watch Service and Sacrifice, the transformational short film created for the National Law Enforcement Museum
- Our newest exhibit, Roll Out: Automotive Images from the Museum’s Collection, takes a look at over 50 years of law enforcement’s innovative use of the American automobile
- The L3Harris Driving Simulator, placing you in the driver’s seat of a typical squad car, faced with situations an officer may see on the road, trying your hand at simulated drills used to improve skills necessary for a patrol officer.
- The Decision Simulator, placing visitors in the shoes of an officer, faced with a variety of calls for service.
