About the Artist

Dan Murray is a sensational Jazz vocalist local to the musically rich DMV area. Humbly beginning his career busking on the streets of Old Town Alexandria in late 2023, he quickly gained popularity on social media, launching him into the world of Jazz around the world.

Dan has worked with hundreds of professional Jazz artists in the area, proving his ability to provide a fulfilling and fun experience for listeners at any venue, whether it be the prestigious Kennedy Center or the streets and parks of Old Town Alexandria.

Not only a keeper of the Great American Songbook, Dan has written original songs as well. He debuted his first original: “A Very Pretty Spring” in March of 2025 and has continued to write and record. His debut full-length Album “Relajaté” with Alejandro Villareal released in early 2026.

He performed “Bennett’s Best: A Tribute to Tony” at The Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage in April of 2026. He was the subject of Capital Emmy nominated special feature segments by Megan Clarke on ABC7 and WTOP News “Matt About Town”. He has interviewed and performed live  on ABC7’s “Good Morning Washington”, “Living Local DMV”, and FOX5DC.
