Smithsonian Office of Visitor Services
Known as the Castle, the oldest of the 19 Smithsonian museums houses the Smithsonian Visitor Center, which offers volunteers and interactive tools to help you plan your Smithsonian visit and tours highlighting the history and architecture of the Castle and beyond. You will also find exhibitions revealing the history, scope, and scale of the Smithsonian; the crypt of founding benefactor James Smithson; Castle Café; museum store; and free visitor Wi-Fi. Open daily 8:30 am - 5:30 pm except December 25.
