The American Experience Foundation (AEF) enriches the lives of students and young people through inspirational travel experiences and educational opportunities to cultivate the next generation of hospitality industry professionals. AEF is the 501(c)(3) non-profit affiliated with Destination DC, Washington DC’s official destination marketing organization. Current students and alumni from DC's Academies of Hospitality & Tourism, Culinary Arts, and Mass Media are eligible to apply.
The WACA Memorial Scholarship (originally the John B. Campbell Scholarship) was established by the Washington Area Concierge Association (WACA) as a long-term commitment to the hospitality and tourism industry to support the development of skilled professionals. Financial support is provided for enrollment in an accredited undergraduate academic program leading to a career in hospitality
The Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington Education Foundation (RAMW-EF), known as Educated Eats, is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the restaurant industry as a career of unlimited opportunity.
Educated Eats scholarships are designed to assist individuals who demonstrate an interest and commitment to the restaurant industry. Scholarships are provided to high school students, college students and individuals presently working in the restaurant industry, who are interested in pursuing education towards a food service and culinary profession.
Each year, the Hotel Association of Washington, DC, through its 501(C)3, the Washington Hospitality Foundation, awards scholarships to students seeking degrees in the hospitality field. The Washington Hospitality Foundation (WHF) is dedicated to fostering the next generation of hospitality leaders. WHF proudly offers scholarships to college-bound students in the District’s NAF Hospitality and Tourism Academies, as well as hospitality professionals seeking to advance their careers with a hospitality degree.
