Join the Amazon Armed Forces Cycling Classic: Ride, Race, and Experience History
The Amazon Armed Forces Cycling Classic is the region’s premier cycling event, with opportunities to participate for cyclists of all abilities. The Amazon Armed Forces Cycling Classic is a two-day event for cyclists of all abilities and interests. The Challenge Ride is an amateur ride, open to cyclists of all abilities. The ride will take place on Saturday, May 31st, on a 21KM course, closed to traffic, starts and finishes in front of the Capitol, passing historic monuments, crossing the Potomac and past Arlington National Cemetery. The weekend also includes two days of professional and amateur racing. Saturday’s Capitol Cup takes place in DC, following the Challenge Ride, and Sunday, the racing moves to Arlington, VA for the Clarendon Cup.
