Andrea Bocelli

Andrea Bocelli is an Italian tenor whose warmly expressive voice bridges opera and popular song. After winning the newcomers’ category at the 1994 Sanremo Festival, he built an international audience with Romanza, the album featuring “Con te partirò,” later introduced to many listeners as “Time to Say Goodbye” in his duet with Sarah Brightman. His repertoire also ranges from the beloved “The Prayer,” recorded with Céline Dion, to complete operas including "La bohème" and "Turandot". That blend of operatic scale and familiar melodies gives a Bocelli performance its distinctive appeal: sweeping vocal moments alongside songs that have traveled across generations and borders.
