Andy Falco and Travis Book Play Jerry Garcia

Andy Falco and Travis Book, guitarist and upright bassist with Grammy-winning bluegrass band The Infamous Stringdusters, turn their shared love of Jerry Garcia’s music into an intimate acoustic duo project. Their repertoire ranges across Garcia’s solo work, Grateful Dead favorites and traditional songs he cherished; “Ripple” and “Friend of the Devil” are among the songs they bring to the pared-back format. With guitar and bass at the center, the familiar material has room to breathe, inviting listeners to hear the songwriting anew as the musicians shape each tune through close interplay and open-ended jamming.
