Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe is a country singer-songwriter whose clear, expressive voice carries songs that balance sharp wit with hard-won tenderness. Her solo albums include the Grammy-nominated The Blade, while Like a Rose introduced listeners to candid story songs such as “Weed Instead of Roses” and “You Ain’t Dolly (And You Ain’t Porter).” She is also one-third of Pistol Annies, the harmony-rich trio she formed with Miranda Lambert and Angaleena Presley. On her 2026 album Dear Nashville, Monroe turns a complicated bond with the country music capital into an eight-song, co-written and co-produced statement—an inviting entry point to her direct, deeply personal songwriting.
