Printmaking Workshop at the Arts Club of Washington
Discover the fundamentals of relief printmaking with Karen La Du!
Karen La Du is an artist-educator who Chairs the Spilsbury Gallery of the Arts Club of Washington. Karen was born in New Jersey and now lives and works in Washington, DC. She received her BA (French/ Fine Arts), from the University of Miami, Coral Gables, FL, and MFA, Ed. from Kean University, Union, NJ.
In this 4-session series, Karen teaches participants to design, carve, ink and print an edition of hand pulled original prints while exploring the possibilities of this versatile medium.
Saturdays, 10:30 AM - 1:00 PM, on the following dates:
September 19; September 26; October 3; and October 10.
Participants will need to walk up several flights of stairs to the art studio, where this series is held.
Prices vary; Payment covers all four sessions; No makeups, refunds or credits for missed sessions.
