Boyz II Men

Philadelphia vocal group Boyz II Men helped define contemporary R&B with rich harmonies, expressive lead vocals and a blend of smooth ballads and upbeat soul. Their breakthrough began with the lively “Motownphilly,” followed by “End of the Road,” the Grammy-winning “I’ll Make Love to You” and “One Sweet Day,” their chart-topping collaboration with Mariah Carey. Across decades of recordings, they have kept close, layered vocals at the heart of their sound. The appeal lies in the contrast: tender, slow-burning love songs alongside rhythmic hits built for singing along.
