Bumpin Uglies

Bumpin Uglies bring a lyrically driven mix of reggae, ska and punk shaped by their East Coast roots. Formed in Annapolis, Maryland, the band pairs buoyant rhythms and punk energy with candid songwriting, a blend heard across albums such as Beast From The East and Mid-Atlantic Dub. Songs including “Island Time” and “Optimism in F#” capture the range of their sound, from easygoing reggae grooves to punchier, ska-inflected hooks. The result is a set built around sharp lyrics and lively rhythms, with plenty of momentum for singing and moving along.
