DECEITS is a Los Angeles post-punk band blending shadowy atmosphere with melodic urgency and the color and rhythm of Spanish-language music. Formed in 2021 by longtime friends Kevin Moreno and Francisco Saenz, the group turns heartbreak and longing into songs that invite movement as much as reflection. “Please, Wake Up” layers pulsing bass and swinging drums beneath an anthemic chorus, while “One Day You’ll Hurt As Much As Me” channels betrayal into a driving, cathartic beat. Their take on post-punk pairs gothic mood with a vivid, danceable pulse.
