Connecticut quartet Eggy brings a song-first approach to jam-rock, weaving vivid songwriting with room for funk, progressive rock, Americana and R&B to unfold in unexpected directions. Formed in 2016, the band features Jake Brownstein on guitar, Dani Battat on keys, Mike Goodman on bass and Alex Bailey on drums, with all four contributing vocals. Their catalog spans the debut album Watercolor Days, the Nashville-recorded Nashville Tapes and Waiting Game, co-produced by James Petralli of White Denim. Eggy’s appeal lies in the balance: memorable songs provide a sure footing, while improvisation keeps the musical journey open-ended.
