Elijah Nevels

Cleveland-born stand-up comedian Elijah Nevels turns family life and everyday situations into quick-witted, sharply observed stories. He began performing at 14 and was already touring nationally as a young comic, a journey featured in the public television documentary Stand-up in the Land: Elijah Nevels. Nevels has shared stages with comedians including Ms. Pat, Adam Ray, Tommy Davidson and Chad Daniels, and appeared as a co-star on Mayor of Kingstown. His material draws on the small, familiar moments that can take an unexpected turn, with room for the spontaneity and audience connection that make live stand-up its own experience.
