Gandini Juggling
May 01, 2027. Starting: 4:00 PM
Founded in 1992 by jugglers Sean Gandini and Kati Ylä-Hokkala, Gandini Juggling turns the art of keeping objects in flight into inventive, finely choreographed performance. The company blends circus with dance, theatre and music, creating work that ranges from the darkly comic Smashed, a Pina Bausch-inspired piece, to 4 x 4: Ephemeral Architectures, which brings jugglers and ballet dancers together. Other productions, including Spring and LIFE, explore how juggling’s patterns and rhythms can become a language of movement. The pleasure is in watching precise, intricate feats unfold as expressive choreography—with wit and surprise woven into the skill.
