Gregg Karukas

Keyboardist and composer Gregg Karukas brings a soulful, melodic blend of contemporary jazz, Brazilian influence and groove-rich R&B to his music. A founding member of The Rippingtons, he has also toured with artists including Sergio Mendes, Dave Koz and Boney James, and contributed to the Grammy-winning album Echoes of Love. His own compositions include the chart-topping “Elegant Nights” and “Rio Drive,” while Serenata turns to intimate solo piano, reshaping music associated with Milton Nascimento and Dori Caymmi alongside his own pieces. Across sleek keyboard grooves and quieter, reflective passages, Karukas’s music balances polish with a personal, expressive touch.
