Holy Cross Crusaders at Georgetown Hoyas Football

Holy Cross and Georgetown renew a college-football matchup that has stretched across decades, bringing the Crusaders and Hoyas together for a Patriot League contest. Holy Cross has a standout place in league history: its unbeaten 1987 team, led by two-way star Gordie Lockbaum, finished No. 1 in national polls after scoring 511 points and allowing just 110. The rivalry has had its share of close finishes, including Georgetown’s 13–12 win in 1998. With every possession offering a fresh turn, this meeting pairs a storied Crusaders program with a Hoya squad defending its home turf.
