Hovvdy

Hovvdy, the Austin duo of Charlie Martin and Will Taylor, makes intimate indie rock that pairs soft-spoken vocals and gently layered guitars with an understated, homespun warmth. Across albums including Cranberry, True Love and their self-titled 2024 release, they turn close-up observations into songs that feel both reflective and quietly melodic. Their 2026 album Big World adds a fresh chapter, with tracks such as “Try Try Try,” “Blast” and “You Will Go Far.” Hovvdy’s appeal lies in that balance of delicacy and momentum: small, personal details unfolding into melodies that linger.
