The Jayhawks
Oct 21, 2026. Starting: 8:00 PM
The Jayhawks are a Minnesota band whose richly layered country-rock helped shape the alternative-country sound of the 1990s. Their music pairs ringing guitars and folk-leaning melodies with close harmonies, heard across landmark albums Hollywood Town Hall and Tomorrow the Green Grass. Songs such as “Waiting for the Sun,” “Blue,” and “Save It for a Rainy Day” show the range, from jangling rock to wistful balladry. With a new album, Sanctuary Park, and a 40th-anniversary celebration in 2026, the band brings a deep catalog of melodic, harmony-rich songwriting into focus.
