Johnson C Smith Golden Bulls at Bowie State Bulldogs Football
Oct 24, 2026. Starting: 1:00 PM
The Johnson C. Smith Golden Bulls and Bowie State Bulldogs meet in a CIAA football rivalry featuring two programs with deep roots in historically Black college athletics. Johnson C. Smith enters as the defending conference champion, having ended a 55-year title drought with a 45–21 win over Virginia Union in the 2025 championship game. Bowie State’s 2026 Homecoming adds a celebratory edge to this late-season conference matchup. Expect the appeal of college football shaped by school pride, conference tradition and a recent championship story still fresh for the Golden Bulls.
