Jon McLaughlin

Jon McLaughlin is a singer-songwriter and pianist whose polished pop-rock pairs piano-led melodies with soulful vocals and candid, hook-filled songwriting. His 2007 debut album, Indiana, introduced listeners to “Beautiful Disaster,” while his performance of “So Close” in Disney’s Enchanted brought his voice to a wider audience and earned the song an Academy Award nomination. He has continued to explore both sides of his musicianship, from the intimate instrumental piano series Mood to later pop releases including Scenarios. The appeal lies in that balance: expressive piano playing and emotionally direct songs that feel equally at home in a quiet moment or a big singalong.
