Knocked Loose and Denzel Curry,Boundaries and Superheaven

This four-act bill brings together four distinct strains of heavy music, led by Kentucky hardcore band Knocked Loose, whose punishing riffs, breakdowns and anthemic delivery earned the song “Suffocate” a Grammy nomination. Miami rapper Denzel Curry shifts the energy with agile, forceful flows and the wide-ranging sound of Melt My Eyez See Your Future, featuring “Walkin” and “X-Wing.” Connecticut metalcore group Boundaries add a raw, emotionally charged edge, while Pennsylvania’s Superheaven balance grunge-weighted guitars with hazy melody on albums including Jar and Ours Is Chrome. The appeal is in the sharp contrasts: a single bill that moves from visceral hardcore to inventive hip-hop and brooding alternative rock.
