Last Train Home

Last Train Home brings Washington-area roots rock to life with a sound that draws on country, swing, and rock ’n’ roll. Formed in 1997 around singer-songwriter Eric Brace, the band has earned multiple Wammie Awards for Best Roots Rock Band and built a repertoire of original songs alongside thoughtfully chosen covers. Songs such as “Time and Water,” “Dogs on the East Side,” and “Flood” show the range of its songwriting, while the group’s shifting blend of guitar, pedal steel, keyboards, horns, and accordion gives the music a richly textured feel. It’s a set for listeners who enjoy roots music with room to roam.
