Laurie Berkner

Laurie Berkner is a leading voice in children’s music, writing playful, melodic songs that invite young listeners to join in. A former preschool music specialist, she draws on the energy of a classroom singalong, turning everyday silliness and vivid make-believe into catchy tunes. Her best-known songs include the dinosaur march “We Are The Dinosaurs,” the jaunty “Victor Vito,” and the swimming-party favorite “The Goldfish (Let’s Go Swimming).” Berkner’s concerts bring those familiar songs to life with plenty of chances for children and grown-ups to sing, move and share the fun together.
