Leslie Odom Jr

Leslie Odom Jr. is a Tony- and Grammy-winning actor and singer whose rich, nimble voice moves between Broadway, jazz and original songwriting. He won acclaim as Aaron Burr in the original Broadway cast of Hamilton, including for the song “Wait for It,” and earned an Academy Award nomination for playing Sam Cooke in One Night in Miami…. His recordings range from the jazz-inflected Simply Christmas to the original songs of When a Crooner Dies. That breadth gives his performances a distinctive mix of theatrical storytelling, intimate songcraft and the polished ease of a seasoned vocalist.
