Lewis Black

Lewis Black turns exasperation into a comic art form, with fast-building rants that take aim at politics, current events, social media and the everyday absurdities of modern life. His animated finger-pointing and sharp, skeptical observations made “Back in Black” a signature segment on The Daily Show, while his comedy albums The Carnegie Hall Performance and Stark Raving Black earned Grammy wins. He also voices Anger in Pixar’s Inside Out films. Onstage, Black’s tightly wound indignation becomes a lively, unpredictable release—inviting audiences to laugh at the contradictions and irritations they recognize all too well.
