This Is Lorelei

This Is Lorelei is the solo project of Nate Amos, the songwriter and multi-instrumentalist also known for his work with Water From Your Eyes. Across a prolific catalog, he bends indie rock, pop, folk and country into songs that feel both immediately catchy and a little askew. His 2024 breakthrough, Box for Buddy, Box for Star, moves from Americana-tinged storytelling to playful electronic pop, while Holo Boy revisits earlier material with fuller guitars and vocals. On 2026’s The Singer in My Band, Amos leans into twang, folk and bluegrass touches, pairing vivid, offbeat character sketches with melodies that linger after the song ends.
