Madds Buckley

Madds Buckley is a singer-songwriter whose clear vocals and unexpected melodies carry intimate stories into imagined worlds, drawing on themes from anime, video games and other narrative-driven media. Her songs move between acoustic-rooted songwriting and alternative pop-rock, pairing personal lyrics with a flair for dramatic buildup. “The Red Means I Love You” introduced many listeners to her vivid storytelling, while “Overboard” and “Sitting Pretty” show different shades of her sound: one surges with emotional tension, the other grows from acoustic beginnings into layered vocals, electric guitar and drums. The appeal lies in that blend of imaginative detail and recognizable feeling—songs that make room for both fantasy and vulnerability.
