Manassas Ballet Theatre: The Nutcracker

Manassas Ballet Theatre’s The Nutcracker follows Clara from a festive Christmas Eve party into a world of dancing snowflakes and fantastical characters. After her godfather gives her a Nutcracker, it comes to life, leading her into a battle with the Rat King and onward to the Sugar Plum Fairy’s realm. The production features MBT’s dancers, elaborate sets and costumes, and live music from the Manassas Ballet Theatre Orchestra. Familiar scenes and Tchaikovsky’s beloved score make this a lively introduction to ballet and a seasonal favorite for audiences of all ages.
