Military Bowl
Dec 28, 2026. Starting: 2:00 PM
The Freedom Mortgage Military Bowl is a postseason NCAA college football game, bringing two teams together for a late-season matchup that extends their campaigns beyond the regular season. First played in 2008 as the EagleBank Bowl, it has grown into a National Capital Region tradition, with proceeds supporting service members through the Military Bowl Foundation. Recent matchups have delivered plenty of drama: East Carolina edged Pittsburgh 23–17 in 2025, while Virginia Tech defeated Cincinnati 33–17 in 2014. The appeal is in the stakes of bowl-season football, where a single game can cap a season with a hard-fought win.
