Naturally 7

Seven voices become a whole band when Naturally 7 takes the stage. The New York group calls its inventive approach “Vocal Play,” using voices to recreate the sounds of drums, bass, guitars and horns while building rich, tightly layered harmonies. That blend gives fresh life to songs ranging from Phil Collins’ “In the Air Tonight” to Coldplay’s “Fix You,” alongside the group’s own material, including “Wall of Sound.” The pleasure is in hearing familiar musical textures emerge from human voices alone—and watching seven performers shape them into a full, rhythmic sound.
