Norman Brown
Feb 20, 2027. Starting: 7:30 PM
Grammy-winning guitarist Norman Brown brings a soulful blend of contemporary jazz, R&B, funk and blues to his music, with nimble, expressive playing at its center. His 2002 album Just Chillin’ won the Grammy for Best Pop Instrumental Album; earlier releases include Just Between Us and the gold-selling, Soul Train award-winning After The Storm. Brown’s latest album, Authentically Norman, continues that cross-genre approach across eleven tracks, led by the easygoing single “Chillax.” The appeal lies in the way his fluid guitar lines meet warm melodies and relaxed grooves, inviting listeners to follow the music as it shifts between styles.
