Penn State Nittany Lions at Maryland Terrapins Mens Soccer

A Big Ten men’s soccer matchup pairs the Maryland Terrapins with the Penn State Nittany Lions, two programs whose series stretches back to 1948. Maryland holds a narrow historical edge, with 24 wins to Penn State’s 21 and nine draws; their latest meeting, in September 2025, finished 2–2. The teams also played to a 1–1 draw in College Park in 2024, a reminder of how closely contested this pairing can be. With conference points at stake and a long-running series behind them, the appeal lies in watching each side try to turn a familiar, evenly matched contest its way.
