Premo Rice

Premo Rice is a Maryland rapper whose easygoing, soulful hip-hop draws on the funk and warmth of classic R&B. Raised in Prince George’s County, he brings a distinctive regional perspective to a catalog that includes the collaborative album P Got Game with producer Harry Fraud and the solo releases The Rice Tape and Portrait of the P. Tracks such as “DEEP in my bag,” “No One” with Larry June and “Money Dance” showcase his relaxed delivery and smooth, groove-led sound. His music pairs laid-back beats with conversational verses, giving listeners plenty to settle into while keeping the rhymes front and center.
