Quadeca

Quadeca is the boundary-pushing project of rapper, singer and producer Benjamin Lasky, whose music has grown from hip-hop roots into a vivid mix of experimental rap, atmospheric pop and electronic textures. His 2022 concept album I Didn't Mean to Haunt You follows a ghost reckoning with life after death, while the 2024 mixtape Scrapyard moves freely among sounds from shoegaze to electronica. On Vanisher, Horizon Scraper, he expands that adventurous palette with songs including “WAGING WAR” and “RUIN MY LIFE.” The appeal lies in the contrasts: intimate songwriting, unexpected sonic turns and hip-hop at its most exploratory.
