Scythian

Scythian turns Celtic and Americana roots into a lively, fiddle-led blend of folk, rock and Ukrainian musical influences. Named for the ancient nomads, the band brings together traditional jigs and reels, bluegrass drive and original storytelling, heard across albums such as American Shanty, Jump at the Sun and Roots & Stones. Songs including “Paint This Town” and “Dance All Night” showcase its range, from spirited folk-rock to dance-ready tunes. The result is music with the detail of a roots session and the momentum of a rock show—an inviting mix for listeners who like their melodies with a pulse.
