Sofi Tukker

Sophie Hawley-Weld and Tucker Halpern make up SOFI TUKKER, the duo whose dance-pop turns global rhythms, playful vocals and club-ready production into an unmistakable sound. Their breakout “Drinkee,” built around a Portuguese poem by Brazilian poet Chacal, earned a Grammy nomination; their debut album, Treehouse, was nominated for Best Dance/Electronic Album. “Best Friend” brought their bright, collaborative style to a wider audience, while “Purple Hat” became another exuberant dance-floor favorite. Across their catalog, punchy house beats meet guitar, chant-like hooks and lyrics that move between languages—music made to pull listeners into the rhythm, whether they know every word or not.
